INTERN: Social Media Strategist for Documentary

For an independent documentary on the life of George Plimpton, we are looking for an intern to help us with our interactive marketing efforts — this is to include but not be limited to:

  • Help in implementing our Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube presences and integrating our message into a complete package
  • Organizing our Social Media strategy
  • Providing metrics and updates on our strategy

Skills we are looking for are:

  • Expert on effective Facebook and Twitter marketing with a proven track record
  • Expert on all emerging social media platforms and measurement services
  • Proficiency in posting and organizing photos, videos, RSS feeds, etc online and via mobile devices
  • Background in PR and promotions marketing (contests, giveaways etc)
  • Web development experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills a must.
  • Compensation is negotiable but intern will be rewarded for hitting certain agreed-upon targets
