> Responsibilities:
> Take a leadership role in developing Windows based applications and
> websites
> Understand target audiences’ needs, tasks, and goals and
> translating them into creative concepts
> Translate business goals and user needs into a User Experience
> strategy
> Develop User Experience flows participating in immersive user
> research, concept testing, and usability testing
> Develop user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user

> Qualifications
> Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a visual arts emphasis or the

> At least 5 years work experience in a professional design
> environment. e.g. interaction designer, experience designer,

> Portfolio of relevant work
> Familiarity with the software development life cycle
> Experience designing interactive user experiences for desktop
> applications
> Expert with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent tools
> Ability to describe and model user-interactions through diagrams,
> prototypes, and storyboards
> Demonstrated knowledge of overall interface design, including
> usability, industry standards, architecture and navigation.
> Demonstrated knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of
> emerging technologies.
> Ability to lead design from concept development through production
> to execution of design.
> Ability to lead and provide direction.
> Demonstrated experience observing user research and translating
> user research into design decisions
> Experience with leading the user experience design of a variety of
> sites
> HTML related skills (XML/XHTML/CSS) and client-side Javascript
> skills (DOM/AJAX) a strong plus
> Knowledge of XAML, Avalon/WPF & Expression a plus
> Recent experience with web based Microsoft technologies (.NET)
> Passion for creating easy to use, visually appealing software
