The University of Miami seeks a webmaster responsible for all technical
aspects of the web strategies and online initiatives to meet key education,
research, informational and promotional objectives of the School of
Communication, the Knight Center for International Media and related
entities.
Specific Responsibilities of the position are to design and develop
websites, redesign and update websites as needed, perform content updates
including maintenance and enhancements, develop and advise on new web
strategies and workflow, and to work in a collaborative environment with
faculty and staff to create and maintain excellent web assets.
Minimum qualifications include 3 years experience a bachelor’s degree in
computer science or related field, or any appropriate combination of
relevant education, experience, and/or certifications will be considered.
Candidate should be proficient in programming:
HTML/Javascript/ActionScript/PHP and MySQL; design: Illustrator and
Photoshop; possess strong writing skills and pay attention to detail.
