ntals Coordinator
DCTV (Downtown Community Television Center) seeks Fu=
ll-Time Rentals Coordinator to work as part of our Training & Resources =
department.
Founded in 1972, DCTV is an independent media arts center,=
and is the premier resource for NYC’s indie filmmaking community, providing=
low-cost equipment rentals, editing facilities, hands-on workshops, space r=
entals, youth programs, screenings & events, and countless award-winning=
documentary productions to broadcast air.
Currently, DCTV’s Training =
& Resources department provides a wide range of professional digital vid=
eo training and services to a rapidly growing constituency of over 1,200 ind=
ependent filmmakers. DCTV Rentals, a full service equipment rental facility,=
and major element of the Training & Resources department, fulfills all =
equipment needs for our constituents as well as for our own internal product=
ions.
Reporting to DCTV’s Director of Training & Resources, the DC=
TV Rentals Coordinator will:
=95 Coordinate & execute all equipmen=
t rental transactions, including telephone orders, scheduling, billing, and =
customer service
=95 Manage equipment inventory & database software=95 Coordinate daily maintenance, repairs, and purchases of equipment inve=
ntory
=95 Order & manage expendables stock
The successful candi=
date will possess a working knowledge of DV/HDV production equipment (DVX100=
, HVRZ1U, HVX200, lighting & audio gear), and have excellent communicati=
on and organizational skills. Customer service experience is a plus.
