*Purpose and Scope*: To work as a liaison between the Merchandising and
Technology teams, facilitating technical issue resolution for Merchandising
through research, documentation and best practices maintenance. Making use
of existing Merchandising, Issue Management, Content Management and Product
Management Systems bringing issues to full resolution including remediation
documentation.

*Primary Responsibilities*:

– Assess and document issues from the Merchandising team requiring
production data updates from interfaces and direct T-SQL.
– Prioritize and assign issues to the Database Administrator and
Programming staff.
– Communicate with constituent groups supporting a production e-commerce
platform.
– Manage issue resolution through research, documentation and
remediation.
– Support technology solutions and documentation of small projects
conducted seasonally for Merchandising.
– Monitor issue aging and final resolution providing additional Best
Practices documentation and follow-up as appropriate.
– Update Issue Management categorizations to support business processes
as needed.
– Support Product Management System issue resolution includes interfaces
to other systems.
– Maintenance of Merchandising Best Practice documents in SharePoint tea=
m
site.
– Maintain own meeting schedule with end-users to assess and glean issue
documentation.
– Technical support within Merchandising.

*Requirements*:

– College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
and/or three years equivalent work experience.
– T-SQL, Application and Web Interfaces and a strong understanding of
relational data analysis.
– Experience maintaining calendar within Microsoft Outlook; analysis
within Excel and documentation within Word.
– Solid and proven grasp of issue management tools and techniques and an
understanding of data processing systems and analysis.
– Effective verbal and written communication skills with technical and
non-technical audiences, with a commitment to consistency.
– Demonstrated self-starter and team builder with collaboration skills t=
o
develop customer focused objectives among various stakeholders.
– Demonstrates very strong analytical capability and is comfortable
analyzing data from various data sources. Uses logical thought process =
to
solve problems.
– Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
