Position Summary:

This role will be respo=
nsible for working closely with product managers, visual designers, engineer=
s, member services, marketing and the sales team to create industry leading =
user experience designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Con=
ceptualize and develop user-centered design solutions that meet the user’s n=
eeds and goals of the businessOrganize site content and increase fu=
nctionality of user tasks and processes through the creation of user scenari=
os, sitemaps, wire-frames, and diagramsTest design solutions with i=
ntended audience and refine based on findingsCollaborate with team =
members in developing design solutions Help identify process improv=
ements that make the group more efficient and effectiveActively con=
tribute to the culture of communication, collaboration and creativity

Critical Competencies for Success:

Ability to stron=
gly advocate for the user during all phases of the design processUn=
derstand user centered design processes, standards, and best practicesAbility to organize priorities and self manage time effectivelyS=
trong written and verbal communication skillsCreation of story boar=
ds, wire frames and design prototypes for new features and functionality Understanding of capabilities and limitations of popular web technolog=
ies Stay abreast of new tools, technologies and techniques

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Design or related fiel=
d

Experience:

2 to 3 years as part of a User =
Experience Team (Information Architect, Usability Engineer, Interaction Desi=
gner or HCI background)Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Omnig=
raffle, Microsoft Office Experience developing online social tools =
and productsFamiliarity with data analysis and web analytics tools
