So the World Bank =
is looking to film a series of training sessions ranging from half a day to =
two days and then edit them down to a brief training video—mostly highligh=
ts from the training courses. We are looking at different options, but ideal=
ly we would like it to look something similar to the Ted Talks

Obviously these ar=
e training courses on Governance and Anti-Corruption at the World Bank in co=
nference rooms so it won't be nearly as nice or engaging as the Ted Talk=
s. Or alternatively we might consider uploading these training courses and s=
ynching them to the power point using something like Articulate Presenter or=
Adobe Presenter similar to this presentation:

Or whatever softwa=
re tool that might enable us to do something like this. Basically, we are pr=
etty flexible in terms of ideas…but want to create a high quality edited v=
ideo that staff people would be interested in watching…not just because it=
is mandatory to watch.

We were thinking o=
f doing it in house, but given that the task at hand is pretty simple….fil=
m a training course and edit the video so it is available to upload onto a w=
ebsite online….we thought we might be able to get someone younger to add a=
fresher spin to the videos/editing. Plus, because it is in house, they seem=
to charge a lot more than what we think we can get at the market rate in te=
rms of cost for quality. Sooooooo we are looking into hiring someone freelan=
ce basically to come in and film and edit these videos. It would be for 6 tr=
aining courses (again the courses will range from about a half day to two da=
ys of face to face training) that would have to be filmed and edited. So i i=
magine the project would be somewhere between 18-20 days or so of filming an=
d editing- give or take a few days. I think the first course is offered some=
time at the very end of September/beginning of October through the first wee=
k of November…and all the courses would have to be ready to be uploaded on=
the web before the end of the year.

So if you know any=
body that is qualified and interested for the job, could you please put them=
in contact with me and have them provide the following information:

Cost per day they =
charge for filming/editing?
Do they own their own filming equipment and e=
diting software? If we hire them, what equipment do we need to provide?
