respective visions. Through an evol=
ving collaboration with curators, artists
and educators, =
the Project Room fosters a wide-range of artistic projects
that challenge and expand conventional practices in art. The Project Roo=
m
fulfills its mission through a series of programs, even=
ts, exhibitions,
performances, talks and concerts.   Issue Project Room’s 16 channe=
l
hemispherical speaker system offers sound spatializatio=
n opportunities
completely unique to New York City.

We are offering hands-on inter=
nships for students who are looking for the
opportunity t=
o learn about the operations of a non-profit art space and to
work alongside some of the today’s most exciting contemporary artists a=
nd
performers.

We are currentl=
y looking for interns to start ASAP. You will work on all
aspects of the space and directly with the Director in a stimulating,

=

creative environment.
Everything fr=
om producing events, to overseeing exhibitions, sound design,
video and audio
archiving to research and non-profit development.
Qualifications
Requirements for internship=
s include:
=95 =
strong interpersonal skills (outgoing, intelligent and responsible)

=95 ability to work cre=
atively and flexibly on many levels at once
=95 competent computer skills on a Mac (Max/MSP=
skills a plus)
=95 knowledge of and enthusiasm for art/culture/music
=95 eager to learn and willingness t=
o get involved in production, live sound,
etc.
