8bitpeoples (http://www.8bitpeoples.com) is currently in need of an
amazing web intern to make major changes to the 8bitpeoples online
store. The store currently uses a proprietary CMS but we are looking
to possibly move the store over to a standard Ruby on Rails Store
solution such
as Spree: http://spreecommerce.com/ or just have someone make changes
to the existing CMS which is pretty easy to understand on the backend.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with Ruby on Rails, php/mysql and
open source content management systems. Basically we need someone who
can get the system in place and help out with ongoing improvements. A
small stipend will be available for this help, but know that we are
looking to grow quickly and the right candidate could be in a position
to grow with us. Also we can offer college credit, if you are still in
need of internship credits for the semester. there is certainly plenty
to do…
