Open Video Policy Project Associate

Requirements: BA, BS, or e=
quivalent
Skills:
Excellent Communication Skills, Self-Starter, Event Planning, Community
Outreach, Tech Experience, Video Experience (a plus), Research
Experience (a plus), International Experience (a plus)
Commitment: Part-time (~20 hours/week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Location: New York, with the potential for remote work

Start Date: ASAP
The
Open Video Alliance and iCommons are searching for an energetic,
driven, and independent person to assist in the execution of a one-year
grant supporting research and international capacity building in the
area of online video and internet policy.=A0 This person
will be primarily responsible for organizing policy workshops and
community events. Secondary duties including promoting and reporting on
these events, reporting on generated research in the iCommons and Open
Video Alliance blogs, and assisting with the Open Video Conference
2010. The Coordinator will be working closely with the Open Video
Alliance General Coordinator, the Project Coordinator, and the Project
Lead.
Areas of interest include: information policy, technology po=
licy, and international video communities.=A0
