Wanted: personal assistant to a well known photgrapher and family. This is an excellent job opportunity for someone looking for a career in the visual arts who has excellent time management and organization skills and an extensive childcare background.
You will be working in our basement home office in Jersey City and very tied in with the family day to day. Therefore impeccable references and background checks are a must as is a Driver’s License with a clean record and excellent written and spoken English language skills.
This job will be different day to day and we expect reasonable flexibility.
However, the ideal candidate will be able and willing to do the following:
-maintain an online and offline photoarchive (Lightroom and Photoshop skills a plus)
-online marketing including keywording,
captioning, social media, search engine optimization and email blasts

-offline marketing including lead follow up
-general office administrative work including mailings, shipping, equipment maintenence
-graphic design and photo editing
-office and home organization (but not cleaning)
-babysitting and possible school pick ups in a pinch
-assist on shoots
Basically, if you are in college or grad school and you are looking for a career in the visual arts, graphic design, photograpahy or studio management, and you were a nanny, preschool teacher, or other childcare professional than this is a great fit for us and a fantastic opportunity for you.
15-20 hours per week, mostly afternoons and evenings. You will be a 1099 freelance assisstant initially. Proof of citizenship or right to work required. $15 per hour to start.
