Purpose is now seeking a Visual Design Fellow to work with our team on our incubator projects (HelloElectric.org and AllOut.org) and on client engagements, ranging from a project with a celebrity chef to promote healthy eating to a platform for promoting civic engagement in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Fellows will work for a part-time basis (15-20 hours/week) during the spring 2011 academic semester with the possibility of extension into the summer and beyond.
You have:
* Strong visual design skills for web and interactive projects, solid sense of visual communication and typography
* Experience in web design: mainly focused on front-end layout design
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Experience with Keynote and/orPowerPoint
* Experience with OmniGraffle, HTML and/or CSS a plus
* Freehand illustration and foreign language skills a plus
* Most importantly, a great attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn
