Marketing – Social and Digital Marketing Manager

This is a crucial role which oversees and supports Ashoka’s use of social technologies to help create our vision of an Everyone A Changemaker World. Ashoka has a robust social media program which includes outreach through mainstream social networks, the development of social content including eBooks and videos and several topical, regional and programmatic blogs. The Social Media Director will be expected to maintain and expand these channels and stay abreast of developments in the social media and digital marketing space to help inform the evolution of this program.
Outreach Innovator

This person will lead all aspects of the global direct mailings and online marketing/fundraising campaigns from the definition of the global organizational strategy, to creation and distribution of materials, and to measurement of results and impact. Competitive candidates will have 5-7 years of related experience in project management/marketing/communications, working on high profile and complex projects. Experience with Salesforce and/or ExactTarget and utilizing social media to drive new constituent engagement preferred. The Application/Platform Manager will coordinate the work of outside vendors to ensure that applications are successfully serving the needs of the global organization and will be an internal resource to users across the globe. This position is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial, creative and tech-savvy individual to help integrate technology solutions at Ashoka, thereby increasing its impact on social entrepreneurship throughout the world. Competitive candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in project or product management, consulting or program implementation, preferably in the technology sector. Experience with network, server administration, Salesforce, and Drupal is a plus.
Changemakers Technology Analyst
Based: Arlington, VA
Level: Mid (3-7 years of experience)
Changemakers is continually evolving its lineup of innovation-sourcing products, and developing new products. We are looking for a team member who possesses solid technology skills, but also creativity, passion, and demonstrated commitment to positive social change and social entrepreneurship. This individual will be responsible for managing platform development, translating business process to technology development (and vice-verse), client interactions, product innovation and design, and similar tasks. A background in project management and open source technologies such as Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP and the Drupal CMS are valuable. Proficiency in English and one or more non-English languages would be a plus.
