The Creative Technologist role is a blend between a designer and developer. They are able to facilitate ideas at the conceptual stages of a project. They have an eye for design and a passion for interactivity. They are skilled in various languages and programming styles. They are able to look at a problem and come up with a smart, logical solution. They are able and willing to learn new processes and technologies.
Requirements:
• The type of person that constantly has a couple of personal projects going on
• Addicted to learning new things
• Conceptual thinker, as well someone that is very logical
• Can take a project from start to finish
• Rapid prototyping skills
• An eye for design
• Enjoy having a good time, and bring a positive attitude to the table
• Comfortable with Java/Processing and/or c++/openFrameworks
• Comfortable with web languages client and server-side
• Flash programming skills
• Comfortable IOS, mobile development
• Experience with computer vision is a big plus (You have at least heard of OpenCV)
• Some Arduino and general electronics skill are a plus
• Like to go out for Beers while using your laptop
