Job Description
Are you a coder who can handle a design challenge or a designer who knows the value of being able to build it too? Flycell, a global leader in mobile entertainment seeks an experienced Front End Developer/Designer. Must be conversant with up to date user experience trends, technologies and best practices. In this position you will participate in creating and developing new features, promotions and products for existing web properties as well as in creating new sites and brands.

All applicants should have demonstrated experience or ability in all of the following areas.
- Able to contribute from initial design process through the creation of clean, valid HTML
- Must be detail oriented and able to follow established design guidelines
- Take finished design comps and code them into full sites, landing pages, mobile sites and more
- Work to maintain, refresh and progressively improve existing site code
- Confident with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Flash
- Must have clean, modern design sensibility
- Fluent in CSS and web standards best practices (including CSS3 and progressive enhancement)
- Well-versed in the cross browser issues
- Thorough understanding of possibilities of Ajax, Flash and rich media interfaces
- Experience with Javascript, JQuery and a plus
- Experience with ActionScript 3, PHP/Smarty or other templating languages and SVN a plus
- Experience with Mobile Development a plus
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in parallel
- A team player who can work independently but communicates often

Job Description
The Development Team is responsible for our web and wap front end, database tier, and mobile content delivery. The team will participate in developing new applications, customizing them for individual customers and partners and adding personalization to our web capabilities. This developer will work closely with technical management, technology architects, and other developers and testers at Flycell throughout the requirements, design, and implementation phases of projects ranging from small to very large. The ideal candidate will have extensive PHP experience, database experience, and large-scale systems experience. Ability to work in a remote management environment an absolute must.
Specific Responsibilities Include: Working effectively with cross-functional groups to understand and implement requirements. Closely following written design specifications to ensure that software fits into our overall architecture, addresses requirements, and is testable. Providing and meeting time commitments for development projects. Communicating status and issues orally and in writing in a timely manner.
Qualifications

All applicants should have demonstrated experience in all of the following areas.
- At least 4+ years solid professional experience in PHP4, PHP5 system architecture and development.
- Extensive experience with MySQL, writing complex SQL queries, database design and integration.
- Experience on LAMP environment and Source control (SVN).
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks, process and products.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic work environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, on Back End Platform for main business.
