Do you enjoy technology? Are friends and family members constantly asking for your help with their new smart phones? Do you currently have a Google Mail account? NYU ITS is looking for students to assist NYU faculty, staff and students with our transition to GMail and Google Calendar.

QUALIFICATION
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, prior customer service experience, and would feel comfortable trouble shooting and facilitating information in a professional setting. This position will be scheduled part-time as needed. We will provide training.

Job Description:

-Configure and troubleshoot desktop client software for use with Google Apps for Education
-Configure and troubleshoot mobile client software for use with Google Apps for Education
-Provide assistance in using the Google Apps web interface
-Assist clients with migration specific issues (conflict accounts, shared folders, etc)
-Accurately log field work using the Remedy tracking system
-Provide email and phone support for Remedy tickets assigned to Google Apps
