The successful candidate will work closely with a top-notch boutique design shop made up of MIT Media Lab graduates to develop, adapt, and bring to market the company’s groundbreaking concept. In addition to highly engaging UI design, the designer will be responsible for the company’s identity as it pertains to all materials and products.
Candidate should be comfortable with dynamic content (primarily large collections of text and image), have experience with data visualization and a passion for clean, sophisticated design.
Some programming or the understanding of basic programming concepts is a plus but not required. We would like to see experience prototyping independent projects as well.
The designer will be part of a small elite group working to quickly release a production level product. The successful candidate will be personable, organized, and expected to give and receive constructive criticism from other designers and non-designers alike. The initial platforms will be iOS and web, with other mobile platforms to follow.
