Core77 Seeks Full-Time Graphic Designer
Job Summary:
Join our small, talented, SoHo based team and work on an exceptional web property and its ancillary activities and sites. Projects range from editorial graphics to web advertising and marketing campaigns to real-world event collateral to website and branding work. Rare opportunity for a designer to manifest their aesthetic directly, both producing graphics on a daily basis and designing longer endeavors, making a lasting mark on one of the Internet’s oldest and most esteemed online platforms. You will be working directly with Core77 editorial and advertising managers as well as Core77 Design Awards manager to produce designs and materials for editorial, marketing and sales, contests and events.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the Core77 brand personality
At least 2-3 years relevant experience in art directing and designing online and print editorial and marketing material
Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Keynote
A hearty love of busting out new work
Ability to channel a variety of styles
Organized and able to handle and work across a range of projects and lifespans, maintain project timelines, meet all deadlines etc
An understanding of business and marketing aspect of projects
Excellent collaborator, communicator, work ethic, able to work in small, fast-paced environment
Pluses: HTML skills, working knowledge of web and video, interest in web/interactive trends
The position is full-time and based in New York City
