Video Installation Technical Director Needed
Technically savvy, inventive and reliable technical director needed for developing a new show to premier at The Kitchen in Spring 2012. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to expand his or her professional experience with a show that will then tour in Europe and across the US. Claude Wampler, a New York-based artist, has shown extensively in Europe and the US, including The Whitney, The Warhol Museum, The Walker Arts Center, The New Museum, as well as two previous shows at The Kitchen. For her current project she is seeking a collaborator to develop new video projection techniques involving blue/green screen and live mixing. The work will begin immediately, but until the month leading up to the premier, the schedule is flexible and can accommodate your existing commitments. This is an unpaid position with a collaborator credit and has the strong possibility of being a paid position when the show tours.
