We are currently looking for a part-time freelance designer to work on design-related projects for our interactive agency in Soho on an as needed basis. Projects are currently focused on designing sales presentations (PDF, PowerPoint, etc.), but may at some point evolve into more work including design mocks, wireframes, and other branding materials.
The designer must have an excellent and demonstrated understanding of composition, color, typography, and layout, a strong capacity for conceptual thinking, superb communication skills, be reliable and punctual, and possess an ability to multitask.
S/he should also be fluent in Adobe CS design software, have an impressive portfolio of relevant work, and have earned or be working towards a degree in graphic design, interactive/digital media, or a related field.
This is a part-time, paid opportunity on a project by project basis with the flexible hours and the ability to work from home, although you must be New York-based and available to teleconference (Skype, etc) AND available to come to our office periodically for design concept meetings.
