[JOB] motion designer

SuperUber is expanding quite a bit and I’m looking for an experienced motion designer, who wants to come live in Rio. I’ve been looking for people here, and it’s hard to find, so I thought I’d drop you a note about this;

I need someone with experience in After Effects, an ambition to not only animate but also be the director of the projects, guide the aesthetics and execute it with our team. We’ve been doing a lot of projection mapping and interactive installations. We have offices in São Paulo and New York (NY is very small, just opened), so traveling for work is a possibility, but this person would mostly stay in Rio. 3D skills is a plus.

We’re moving into a larger space, opening a temporary exhibition space, and it’s exciting times in Rio with all the big events coming (World Cup, Olympics…). I need to invest in someone who wants to be here in Rio for a while, be trained to do the kind of work we do, and have the ambition of growing together with us.

Just to have an idea, we’re doing now a projection mapping sculpture, where the motion designer interacts with the interface designer, programmer and architect to develop the animations, and we’re also doing a second batch of animated content for a TV set we designed (see the link below);
