NYU TICKET CENTRAL IS NOW HIRING CASHIERS FOR THE FALL 2012 SEMESTER.
Job Qualifications:  Must have a cheerful, outgoing personality, and the ability to work well under pressure.  Good math skills, knowledge of the Internet, and excellent communication and customer service skills are very important. Must have knowledge of NYC culture including Broadway, Off-Broadway shows, music, museums, and nightlife.  Sales experience is helpful.Job Description:
1) Daily ticket sales
2) Light bookkeeping
3) Accurately dealing with tickets and money
4) Daily organization of ticket counter and signage around box office
5) Relaying university information (such as directions, event schedules, etc.) to the university community.
6) Occasional errands

Ticket Central Cashiers enjoy many perks, such as free tickets to Off-Broadway shows and first dibs at tickets for free events.  Starting salary is $10.00 per hour.

In order to apply, you must meet the following requirements:
*You must be a current NYU student.
*You must be available for an on-campus interview between August 20th and August 22nd.
*You must be available to attend a training session at Ticket Central on Wednesday, September 5th from 9:30am-2pm.
*You must be available to attend a follow-up training session on Thursday, September 7th, from 5-6pm.
*You must be available to work BOTH of the following cashier shifts during the fall semester:
Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 6:15pm
Fridays from 3pm to 6:15pm
