Web Programmer
Develop a variety of web applications and features for NYU Steinhardt’s web site to engage and serve the needs of prospective students, current students, faculty, alumni, parents, and other NYU Steinhardt constituents using modern scalable programming and scripting languages such as PHP, SQL, JavaScript (AJAX, jQuery, and/or JSON), Symfony, HTML, CSS, etc. Create scripts, programs, databases, and interfaces on a daily basis. As a member of Steinhardt’s integrated web and marketing team, bring ideas, creativity and an understanding of current and emerging trends in web site development to content management solutions for the 100+ websites operating within the School. Create, maintain, and analyze various user response interactive forms and publications. Monitor usage and ensure functionality of websites; analyze problems, propose and implement solutions.
