Position Summary:
As part of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Investment Products and Services group, the Senior Visual Designer is responsible for creating stunning visual design for web and desktop applications across the firm that support the needs of our clients and financial advisors.

Key platforms supported by our team include:
• 3D: A robust data- and transaction-oriented desktop application that supports all aspects of client management
• MSSB Online: Our client investment and banking web application
• Intranet Portals:  Internal content, research, and partnership sites
• Social Platforms: Various initiatives including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
• 3D Mobile: Various initiatives for mobile devices (iPhone, Android, iPad)

Skills Required
Experience:
5-7 years of industry experience in a well-established visual design role with emphasis on user-interface design for complex, data-driven websites and/or applications. Financial services experience a plus.

Roles/Responsibilities:
– Design complex, pixel-perfect interfaces and data visualizations for our applications and websites
– Collaborate closely with other members of the UX team, as well as key business and technology stakeholders
– Apply existing visual design patterns consistently and extend and document emerging patterns
– Create visual specs, redlines and maintain style guides
– Conduct visual design quality assurance and user acceptance testing

Skills/Abilities:
– Experience in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office
– Excellent attention to detail and impeccable standards of delivery
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met
