POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Digital Collaboration Analyst this candidate will design, develop and maintain web and mobile applications to support our company-wide collaboration initiatives based on the intranet platform.
He/She will partner with the key IT experts and with the Corporate Communications Team to ensure integration and compliance with the Joint Business plan and IT strategy.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge on the latest Web development technologies including mobile devices, have hands-on experience, and a strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate business requirements into digital products based on the internal collaboration platform
Liaise with business partners to get a comprehensive and approved list of requirements
Agile development of functional applications with stunning design that meet business objectives
Maintain technical requirements of global intranet platform while managing local requirements
Contribute to the development of long term strategy
Apply of cutting edge technology, development tools, libraries, frameworks, etc.to existing web site
Provide innovative options and inspire ideas for new projects
Ensure integration across business processes and IT strategy
Develop business processes and technical documentation: detailed functional specifications
Effective application of the Professional Project Management methodology
Delivery of projects and adherence to project objectives, timelines, deliverables and budget
Maintain the web platform/applications running as per the SLA —problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Manage technical upgrade of JIVE platform and all related intranet objects to the most convenient version
Provide support to the web and mobile applications, troubleshooting to provide resolution on-time
Develop/mange an effective working relationship with third party resources (e.g. JIVE, agencies, consultants)
Integration of the different markets/business unit local websites into intranet
Provide analysis and statistics of website behavior and user experience (e.g. search, visited, clickstream, etc.)
Train users and super-users (e.g. onboarding new users, new/additional functionality, new versions, etc.)
Report detailed status on day-to-day activities and project development at least on a bi-weekly basis
Provide web design support
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology field including Web development
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in front-end web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
JQuery
Good knowledge of newer HTML5 features and additional capabilities. Hands-on experience is desirable
Minimum 2 years of experience with web technologies such as Flash, J2ee, FTL, SQL, XML, Firebug, Notepad++, Eclipse, Maven, Postgress SQL, Linux, Microsoft 7, Explorer, Firefox, Chrome
Problem solving, prioritization and organization skills
Understands web ecosystems and best practices for front-end applications development
Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team
Project management knowledge to collaborate on creation of project plan and tasks for the team
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects effectively and get focused as needed
Ability to conceptualize system solutions to business problems
Proactive and positive attitude
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
Sense of urgency and ownership to hit tight deadlines and work under pressure
