New York University is one of ten universities to offer the Dalai Lama Fellowship, a global program authorized by the Fourteenth Dalai Lama.
One fellow will be chosen from each university to receive up to $10,000 toward a year-long project of his or her design in one of four focus areas:
1) working across differences;
2) diminishing violence;
3) alleviating poverty;
4) protecting the environment.
All undergraduate, graduate and professional students – who will be enrolled full-time at NYU in Academic Year 2013 – 2014 – are invited to apply.
