JOB: Front-End Developer | Brooklyn Bridge Park Walking Tour Web Site

Front-End Developer | Brooklyn Bridge Park Walking Tour Web Site
TancilTown Media seeks a front-end developer to help create a web-based walking tour of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

This mobile-first website will be tied to new signage being designed and installed throughout the park.  These signs and the accompanying website will detail the rich history of Brooklyn’s waterfront.

The signs will direct visitors to the mobile site, which will blend images, text, social media, geolocation and, perhaps, augmented reality and/or audio, to offer a rich look at the history of each spot and its relation to the surrounding communities. The website will also include tablet and desktop versions, the latter which will be tailored to classrooms and teaching students about Brooklyn history.
We’re seeking a front-end developer with experience developing mobile and responsive websites.  The developer should have experience with HTML5 and common open-source content management systems.
