Job Description: To coordinate and efficiently communicate the day-to-day tactical implementation of our web projects. As the Project Manager, you will be the primary contact between the web team and the client and manage the overall communication among creative, technical, and production elements of the web site team. It will be your responsibility to manage, create, and maintain the project planning and strategy documents, budget spreadsheets, project schedules meeting notes, billing records, and other project documentation that details the team’s activities.
Responsibilities Include:
The ability to act within the constraints of the project charters and goals, project budget, development schedule, and quality objectives laid out in the planning stages.
Take responsibility for keeping the overall activities of the development team as well as the client and keep all parties focused on the site strategic objectives and agreed deliverables.
To be able to do all this while continuously monitoring the scope of all project activities to ensure that the team is on time and on budget with impeccable attention to detail.
You must be able to lead the wireframe process to ensure the proper user journey, including writing thewireframe specification documents.
Must be able to clearly and effectively write comprehensive discovery documents as well as technical specifications documents.
You will work with a web development / production team, monitoring punch-lists and open tickets.
You must be comfortable with the management communication software as well as task management systems software.
You must have impeccable attention to detail and organization as well as theability to handle aggressive deadlines.
You must be able to be the primary liaison between the agency and client, holding them responsible for all deadlines and agreements set forth in the contract between Jola and the client.
You must be able to clearly and effectively communicate the scope of the project to the client and manage all client expectations.
You must have the ability to work and manage 3rd party development resources and multiple mid-sized to large projects simultaneously.
Ability to multi-task, taking on both projects and day-to-day support issues/requests.
You must be willing to travel when work requires as well as work weekends when smart business practices dictate.
