[INTERN] Interaction Design – Physical Computing – Wearable Project

Immerse Global is a clean-water technology firm in partnership with Stanford University. We are looking for intern(s) who will support our latest Human Impact campaign by creating unique interactive experiences and connections between aid recipients and donors. These connections will take place through wrist bands and other interactive art pieces.

The right candidates should demonstrate a dynamic and positive attitude, evidence of academic success relevant to the role and the ability to work effectively and accurately.

Responsibilities:

– Working w/ design team to build wearables and art décor prototypes.
– Experience with Arduino-based prototypes, including knowledge of wireless communications, programming and  basic circuit design.
– Experience with rapid prototyping processes: laser-cutting, CNC routing, and 3D Printing. You will be expected to develop prototypes integrating LED technologies.
– A plus if candidate has worked on LED Installation projects.
