BAMIN, a New York based tech-enabled company, is looking for a software engineer to maintain, support and iterate the product with new features. We’re a customization platform that allows you to build your own bags and infinitely remix them by adding parts to create new styles to fit your modern, unique life anytime you want. We’re using innovative CGI technology on our highly interactive site and a hybrid of automated and handcrafted production techniques to make our bags locally. To support the company during our launch phases and to help us improve our product, we’re looking for a part-time/freelance developer
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
PHP5 / OOP/ Symfony2 / MySQL
Experience with building/working on complex systems such as custom web apps
E-commerce experience
Responsibilities
Own and manage production schedule
Monitoring system performacne
Improve existing / build new features based on site analytics
Troubleshooting
Perform ad-hoc/Part time on call duties
Work with founder and front end developer to implement and evolve solutions for a wide array of challenging problems
