I have been working with a Mongolian colleague, paleontologist Dr. Bolortsetseg (Bolor) Minjin in educating Mongolia artists about making dinosaurs and informing their museums about education programs. Seems the Mongolians know nothing about fabricating dinosaurs or how to do education programs. So this summer I went for two weeks to oversee this program as well as give 3 talks on Museum education. Anyway, to make things short, Bolor was the person responsible for the smuggling of dinosaurs out of Mongolia and was able to stop the auctioning of a dino the size of a T-Rex by this Florida man and UK person who stole dinos from all over the world. But, also, she has been doing education programs with children in Mongolia and has a website. Her organization name is Institute for the Study of Mongolian Dinosaurs, non-profit in Mongolia, but not in US yet ,but hoping to do this year.
