Description
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated developer to join our internal creative technology and digital innovation team called the BETA Group. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and platform / technology agnostic developer who enjoys working in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced agency environment in one of the best cities in the world.
Candidates need to have a strong, demonstrated working knowledge of current frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Flash) and backend (LAMP stack, Amazon Web Services, Heroku) web development technologies.
Experience with and a curiosity about languages / physical computing platforms such as Processing / Wiring / Arduino, Rasberry Pi, Kinect hacking, etc. is highly desired. You will be part of a growing team tasked with creating interactive prototypes, physical computing installations, standalone digital products and platforms as well as open source projects. Essentially, we’re looking for someone who wants to constantly push creative and technological boundaries in the name of creating smart and interesting digital experiences.
This is NOT a pure developer position – a large part of the job will involve working closely with the Creative team in order to contribute to the conceptual and creative thinking that goes into our interactive projects and campaigns.
