[JOB] URGENT: Made in NY Media Center by IFP

The Made in NY Media Center by IFP is excited to present a unique opportunity for a member of the 2014 ITP graduating cohort.  As part of our commitment to the community and interest in nurturing up-and-coming professionals working at the intersection of story + tech, we are launching a University Fellowship program and offering a six-month incubator space at the Media Center to one graduate from the ITP program.

Our incubator program is for those creatives and entrepreneurs with a dedicated project or company. We provide full-time and reserved desk space to foster their growth. Support includes mentorship and teaching opportunities as well as access to conference rooms, a fully functional pantry, a library and a once-a-term complimentary booking of our 72-seat screening room. A free membership to IFP (Independent Filmmaker Project) is also included as a benefit of the incubator program, in addition to discounts on classes and room rentals at the Center and invites to all of our networking events, workshops and panels.

Our hours of operation are currently 9:00A to 7:00P, Monday through Friday.

The Made in NY Media Center by IFP champions the future of storytelling in the digital age through a unique focus on cross-platform and cross-discipline media innovation. The Media Center brings together creators in film, video, gaming, technology, and more through education, mentorship, entrepreneurship and content creation. The 20,000 square foot facility is located in DUMBO, Brooklyn, and features a co-working space, talent incubator, 72-seat screening room, art gallery, and café in addition to dedicated spaces for classes, conferences, and meetings. The Media Center is supported by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and NYEDC.

If you think you might be a good match for this fellowship opportunity, please email by 5pm Tuesday May 20th.   Sabrina Dridje <sdridje@nymediacenter.com>
