SEP Pilot Program
The New York City’s Software Engineering Pilot Program (SEP ) is a project based curriculum for NYC middle and high schools mean to engage and inspire students to pursue the myriad pathways software engineering provides in career opportunities and postgraduate study. The program is currently in 18 NYC public middle and high schools in all five boroughs. SEP is looking for interns for the spring 2015 semester. SEP Interns will work to help facilitate hands-on learning activities in the classroom as well as work with assigned instructors in the planning and implementation of lesson plans. SEP interns are expected to work approximately 6-8 hours per week. SEP interns can choose to receive ITP course credit. A stipend will also be offered. A strong background in physical computing as well as experience with web development is preferred.
