JOB: FREELANCE SENIOR UX DESIGNER – for 6 months, temp to perm
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to create useable, intuitive and intelligent design treatments for bleeding-edge user interfaces and other interactive media from concept through completion. This person will report to the Creative Director and will work in a highly collaborative environment with a team that includes project managers, visual designers, developers, and copywriters to create mind-blowing work. The Senior UX Designer will participate in user testing and other UX research, create information architecture, and build wireframes and functional prototypes.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A very strong background with at least 5+ years of user interface design experience.
- A strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology.
- Someone who has worked on interactive mobile applications, preferably someone who has worked on a mobile application with a real-time interactive component.
- Someone with clear and open communication skills who is excited to work as part of a highly collaborative team.
- Someone who can effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually to the rest of the team and to the client.
- Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- An advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
JOB: FREELANCE SENIOR VISUAL DESIGNER (WEB + APP) – for 5 to 6 months, temp to perm
We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer with a passion for making gorgeous, ground-breaking work for web and mobile experiences. This person will be involved with the project at every stage of the lifecycle, from brainstorming creative concepts with the project team and developing original campaigns, to participating in client presentations and ensuring deadlines are met, all the way to launch. The Senior Visual Designer will report to the Creative Director and will work in a highly collaborative environment with a team that includes project managers, visual designers, developers, and copywriters, all while maintaining high standards for original concepts and detailed execution.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong conceptual thinking. We want people who can start a project off from an incredibly strong position and come up with surprising, cool concepts to move forward with.
- A strong background, with 3-5 years of web and mobile visual design experience.
- Strong teamwork skills—the ability to work with a Creative Director and Senior UX Designer as well as the confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly.
- A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation. You know a product needs more than just a pretty face.
JOB: FREELANCE SENIOR BRAND DESIGNER (BRANDING) – for 1 to 2 months
We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to create a unique and recognizable image (a brand) for a mobile application and related products, and promote that image with visual materials. These materials will include a logo, fonts, color palettes etc, suitable for print, web, and mobile platforms. The Senior Brand Designer will work with communications professionals, the client, and senior staff members to designate target audiences and create consistency across all marketing platforms.
