[INTERN] Content Development interns, Local Projects

Local Projects (localprojects.net), an interactive media design studio, is currently seeking Content Development interns with excellent research and creative and technical writing skills. Interns will research and help develop content for a range of formats, from museum exhibition panels and screen-based interactives to mobile applications to architecturally integrated media. Interns will work closely with Local Project’s content developers, designers, and project directors to devise new storytelling approaches and shape the overall visitor experience.

Candidates must be efficient, detail-oriented, comfortable with collaborative work processes, and able to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.

What you may do:

  • Conduct research for a wide range of topics.
  • Produce draft or sample content for use in the design process
  • Help locate and acquire content assets (imagery, audio/visual for historical documents) for production
  • Ensure that assets are properly labeled and organized
  • Help develop content goals
  • Draft write-ups of exhibition experiences

Requirements:

  • Ability to research and write at the highest level
  • Proficiency with Word or Pages, Excel, and Keynote/Powerpoint

Optional, but helpful:

  • Knowledge of a variety of editing and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, and Final Cut Pro

This is a paid internship. Full- or part-time hours available.
