The Marymount School is seeking our first Creative Technologist in Residence for the Fall 2015 semester.
The main roles of the Creative Technologist in Residence will be:
- Assist students and faculty for grades K-12 in prototyping and developing new creative technology projects
- Help maintain materials, tools, and equipment (including a laser cutter, 3D printers, and a CNC machine) in our High School Makerspace (IDEA Lab)
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to creative technologies in education; have experience working in an experiential learning environment; be comfortable with the use of hand tools, electronics, computer software and hardware, and various other technologies; as well as be an effective collaborator with strong communication skills. This is a part time, flexible hours, paid position.
