[JOB] Creative Technologist in Residence, Marymount School

The Marymount School is seeking our first Creative Technologist in Residence for the Fall 2015 semester.
The main roles of the Creative Technologist in Residence will be:
  • Assist students and faculty for grades K-12 in prototyping and developing new creative technology projects
  • Help maintain materials, tools, and equipment (including a laser cutter, 3D printers, and a CNC machine) in our High School Makerspace (IDEA Lab)
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to creative technologies in education; have experience working in an experiential learning environment; be comfortable with the use of hand tools, electronics, computer software and hardware, and various other technologies; as well as be an effective collaborator with strong communication skills. This is a part time, flexible hours, paid position.

Our facilities include the IDEA Lab at our 5th Avenue Campus, for students in grades Pre-K through 2 and grades 9 through 12 as well as a Fab Lab at our 97th Street Campus for students in grades 6 through 8.
