[JOB] Front End Developer, Lower East Side Neighborhood Guide

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Ludlow Hotel (http://ludlowhotel.com/) is adding new functionality and content to the Explore section of the site. You’ll be modifying this straightforward marketing site to add two new sections. The site is built on the Directus PHP framework (http://getdirectus.com/), and uses the framework’s simple PHP functions to pull and display content in HTML templates. You’ll be responsible for adding the models to the framework, HTML + CSS implementation of our fully specified mockups, and some light javascript changes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

– Strong knowledge of front-end design, including CSS, HTML

– Are comfortable working with PHP and LAMP apps

– Comfortable with common front-end Javascript (eg JQuery)

– Ideally, experience with the Google Maps API
