Creative Technologist Internship at Second Story NYC
Second Story is looking for a creative technologist intern to join our New York team from January 2016.
Second Story conceptualizes, designs, and develops interactive media experiences that enchant, inform, and
entertain—pioneering new ways to inspire wonder and connect audiences to stories, ideas, and information.

ROLE:
This is a creative software development role with some physical computing work. You’ll be working with our
team on a variety of client projects, as well as, experiments in our lab. We’re looking for someone who has
imagination and passion for building new experiences at the intersection of art, storytelling and technology.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
● Collaborates well with others in an interdisciplinary team
● Familiar with physical computing platforms such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino
● Programming experience using creative coding frameworks or in web
development. Experience in a coding language is needed such as Processing or
HMTL/JS. Experience in C++ is a plus
● Someone who is self-motivated, hands-on and has previous work experience
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
INTERNSHIP CONDITIONS:
This is a paid internship.
Ideally, it is a full-time position – duration is 6 weeks or longer.
However, there is also an option for a part-time position for students in the upcoming
Spring 2016 semester.
