JOB: Digital Retail Manager, Global Goods Partners

Digital Retail Manager
Global Goods Partners is looking for an experienced digital retail manager to
oversee its retail sales channel. The manager will be responsible for the visual and
creative growing GGP’s e-commerce business, including managing the website and
user experience, and the brand’s digital marketing and advertising campaigns. The
position requires close coordination with GGP’s small and collegial staff.
The responsibilities associated with the position include, but may not be limited
to, the following:
 Manage GGP’s digital retail channel and overall customer user experience
 Develop key performance indicators and benchmarks for GGP’s retail website
in partnership with the design and production team.
 Manage retail operating budget and develop revenue forecasts
 Lead the evolution of the website’s aesthetic and content
 Manage online marketing, merchandising; produce site content; and
maintain fresh visual aesthetic
 Manage inventory platform with wholesale counterpart
 Work together with the wholesale team to design/update the trade show
booth twice a year.
 Manage and direct photo shoots for lookbooks and lifestyle photos
 Develop content strategy and promotional calendar with marketing and
planning team members
 Oversee GGP’s PR strategy and implementation
 Manage and implement GGP’s digital customer outreach:
 Remain current with new technologies and apps that support GGP’s
ecommerce and retail growth
 Support and optimize GGP’s digital advertising efforts, including paid
search (Google AdWords); retargeting and other display advertising
campaigns
 Create and execute email marketing campaigns, including testing landing
pages and emails to improve conversion performance
Required Qualifications:
 5 or more years post-college work experience in a related field
 Proficiency with Adobe Design Suite
 Keen design esthetic
 3+ years of experience in retail e-commerce with solid understanding of SEO
& SEM including experience managing PPC campaigns like Google Ads
 Well versed in social media marketing/advertising: Facebook, Instagram,
Pinterest, blog journalism, etc
 UX/UI or web design experience with working knowledge of HTML
 Excellent communication skills
 Interest and comfort working in an entrepreneurial, collegial environment
Ideal Qualifications
 Experience with Shopify and Stitchlabs
 An awareness and connection to women’s economic empowerment and fair
trade
 Experience working and/or living in the Global South
