Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies has a few job openings we are looking to fill in the near term and would love to loop in NYU ITP grads.
We are hiring a few instructional designers (at both the junior and senior-level) to join our Curriculum and Instruction department in the school. These open positions are full-time, salaried positions as officers of the university and include full benefits and tuition exemption at the University (and its affiliates like Barnard, TC, etc).
Candidates need to meet the following criteria:
Master’s degree preferred
4-6 years of related work experience
Demonstrated experience developing team-based, collaborative and/or project-based courses and curricula
Demonstrated research interest in a field(s) related to education, curriculum and instruction and/or educational technology for a professional audience
Demonstrated experience developing face-to-face, online and/or blended programming that creatively leverage new and emerging technologies
Our school as a whole has grown by almost 40% in the past year, making it an exciting time to join our team. In particular, because of our growth, we are leveraging our design and technology teams to address challenges associated with scale.
