Havas Experience Labs invents, prototypes and then creates compelling, holistic customer experiences. The Labs intern will support senior members of the Havas Labs team, in the development, sales and execution of a series of prototyping centric offers.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong interest in cutting-edge customer experience, digital technology, innovation, a passion for the startup space, an inquisitive mind, and a maker’s mindset. Our team includes experienced startup entrepreneurs, prototypers, engineers, UX and visual designers, and Havas consultants, and is focused on creating a set of scaled experience Labs across the world.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the business development team to create presentations and other materials, and support pursuits
  • Conducting specific research around emerging technologies and monitoring the broader competitive marketplace
  • Helping purchase new technologies, installing/making and designing test experiences that align with Labs focus
  • Working with the product development and user experience teams to help gather feedback on our offerings
  • Helping program managers prepare for and execute workshops
  • Monitoring, collecting, sorting and organizing data on innovation, in all its forms, into useful reports and presentations for use by the broader team
  • Coordinating testing and QA teams and assessing results
  • Ad hoc data entry and analysis

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual who is naturally inquisitive, has a desire to operate in a workshop-first environment, a positive attitude, who projects grace under pressure, and who has a sense of humor. This person should be organized, solutions-oriented, self-motivating and reliable.

Specific qualifications include:

  • A bachelor’s or masters degree (or current college student) preferably in computer science, communications technology, media, product design, or behavioral economics
  • Familiarity with market research and the business development process
  • Understanding of the digital space (marketing, product, platforms, experience design)
  • Experience developing or prototyping technology-enabled products or services
  • Experience multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Confidence in dealing with data, analysis, and reporting
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote

Compensation and Timing:

  • Up to $15 per hour
  • 10-20 hours per week starting January 2017, with a flexible end-date
