Research and Production Assistant Position – Bits and Atoms LLC
Bits and Atoms, a New York City-based think tank and consultancy focused on the intersection of technology and cities, is seeking a part-time research and production assistant for spring and summer 2017. Responsibilities will include research, written synthesis, project management and light administrative duties to support our work with clients on urban technology futures. Applicants should be prepared to work alongside a team of local and distributed colleagues and clients in a highly networked environment, be highly organized, responsive, and flexible. The ideal candidate is a graduate student or recent graduate in urban planning / policy, architecture, social sciences, or other related field with excellent writing skills. Other visual communication, design, and analytic skills will also be highly valued. The position will pay a competitive hourly wage, and require approximately 15-20 hours per week commitment, a portion of which can be fulfilled through remote work.
