SENIOR INTERACTION DESIGNER
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our new Senior Interaction Designer will be a member of the Product team and will be an integral part of redesigning our platform in a responsive framework as well as creating ongoing new features and improvements. He or she should be energized by collaboration and always striving to stay ahead of design trends and best practices. They should have a keen attention to detail and care about using design to make the world (and our customers’ experience) a better place.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, wireframe, design and spec new features for the platform
- Work collaboratively with product owners and stakeholders to ensure business goals and user needs are met by your design solutions
- Prototype and test your designs with users and iterate on them based on findings
- Work closely with developers to ensure your designs are implemented with pixel perfect accuracy
- Work with other team members to ensure that the system adheres to the brand guidelines while following consistent interaction patterns and system elements
- Report to the Director of User Experience
ATTRIBUTES
- Have 5+ years working in digital as an interaction designer, UX designer or web designer
- Have a working knowledge of atomic design principles and use of pattern libraries and frameworks
- Have experience working on responsive sites that look great across multiple devices
- Posses expert skills with Sketch, Invision and Adobe creative suite
- Ability to take a user-centered design approach to solve problems
- Have experience documenting functional requirements and design specs
- Have experience working directly with developers
- Experience with Re-branding or developing a visual identity
- Must be able to share an online portfolio
