UX Designer Job Description
Department: Credit Solutions / Risk Services

Credit Solutions is looking to bring a UX Designer on board to support ongoing projects for our Desktop web platform, such as the Migration of RatingsDirect to the Capital IQ Platform, new product ideas, and other future product design needs (e.g. on-going web enhancements, integration of web platforms such as Ratings360/ RatingsDirect/ CreditPro and other UI updates).
The qualified person would also be responsible for supporting broader Credit Solutions efforts in the creation of presentations for both internal and external stakeholders (PowerPoint presentations, user guides, posters, storyboards, etc.)
SKILLS
-Create and be accountable for the user interaction model, workflows, information architecture, prototypes, layout and style guidelines for desktop software application and web interfaces.
-Develop design concepts, user interface designs and wireframes, and final design specifications for developer execution
-Present and communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders within the organization. Assist with presenting beta or prototype concepts to external users for usability testing. Responsible for collating, assimilating user feedback on designs; recommending enhancements/changes to design in order to optimize user experience and drive product adoption and usage.
-Organize information by creating visualizations of content; sequencing and relating elements; and preparing storyboards or mockups or clickable prototypes
-Document actions by creating functional descriptions and completing functional specifications with product manager
– Design, create, or simplify presentations that optimize message to target audiences
TOOLS
-Solid working knowledge of: High Charts or other charting packages; CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX, and design skills in one or more of the following design packages: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Expression Blend, Adobe Creative Suite, multimedia creation with flash, action script, macromedia studio
