The Job:
Tree House Interactive is looking for a creative, outside-the-box UX practitioner. Our client, the innovation group of a beauty company, wants a UX designer who can help them redefine how we navigate, shop, browse, and generally experience the Web.
Applicants must have a strong foundation in UX principles across devices. But he/she should not be bound by accepted wisdom and convention. In short, the applicant’s portfolio should represent the disruptive and even avant-garde mindset our client seeks.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Create the right documentation for the task at hand, ranging from a sketch on a notepad to an annotated wireframe that a developer can build from
- Be able to easily pivot between creative discussions and business-minded discussions about maximizing site conversion
- Work alongside the design team to ensure business rules for each project are providing the basis for every design
- Help establish and reinforce consistent interaction design patterns across platforms
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
- Usability testing
- Interact with other UX staff within the wider ELC family to build a working group focused on best practices and innovation in the space
Qualifications
- 3+ years designing experiences across multiple platforms
- Experience in mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and responsive design
- Ability to empathize with our user
- Understanding of the technology that realizes your designs
- Stickler for detail
- Mastery of Adobe Indesign or Omnigraffle
- Mastery of InVision and other prototyping software

Job Title: QA Manager
Summary
An Online QA Manager reports to the Online QA Director, and is responsible for managing Production incidents, production escalations, scope out site enhancement requests and ensure the operational integrity of the websites. The Online QA Manager leverages their QA management skills to perform the day to day management of projects / tasks / resources, but goes beyond this remit to work across the business, in order to produce the final deliverable on time and to budget,
We’re looking for a driven and successful QA manager with a proven history of working in a more demanding / time sensitive environment. You’ll work as part of a team of Project managers alongside highly experienced and talented Brand Project managers, front and back-end Developer and business managers
The successful candidate will be adept with different QA management methodologies, and comfortable working with both Waterfall and AGILE. To succeed, candidates must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively, together with the ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring optimum output.
You will have good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and good presentation skills. They will also be expected to form strong relationships with peers in our Global team, and be comfortable working in a collaborative fashion to achieve common goals.
Skill Expectation:
Must have skills: Hands on experience on the following
– Should have worked on any industry standard test management tools (Test Rail, Quality centre etc.)
– Should have designed or built the functional test automation framework (using Selenium preferred)
– Should have defined strategy around client side and server side performance testing of websites using industry standard tools like Load runner, Silk performer, SOASTA etc
– Should have a thorough working knowledge on security testing covering OWASP standards
– Working knowledge on defect management tools like JIRA
– Collect and analyse metrics to evaluate site quality and resource productivity
Nice to have skills:
– Defining QA strategy for websites built on AWS architecture
– QA integration strategy on DEV OPS environment (Continues integration environment)
– Experience around ADA compliance
Key responsibilities
- Working closely with the assigned engineering to clearly understand the assumptions, background and risks for all allocated pieces of delivery
- Monitoring the QA team spread across different locations and ensure that tasks are allocated and delivered according to the plan and escalate where a deviation to plan is likely
- Being commercially aware of all decisions made throughout a project lifecycle -understanding potential impact to the timescale and raise issues/concerns where appropriate
- Acting as the guardian of all QA documentation
- Acting as a quality gatekeeper for all deliverables – ensure that standards are met and that nothing goes to the brand that is not to standard
- Escalating issues/concerns immediately in order to avert projects running over time/budget
- Completing all required reports as identified and required in a timely and accurate manner
- Work collaboratively at all times ensuring that communication style is consistent, clear and open
- Track progress and negotiate deadlines
Qualifications and Certification
- 5+ years’ experience in Software Quality management. Educated to Degree level or have relevant experience in their appropriate discipline and management experience.
- Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore model a big plus
- QA management certification preferable.
Job Circumstances
- Temp to perm. Hourly rate to start.
- Be willing to work extended hours as required by the role and be available to occasionally implement systems out of business hours.
