“Invention designers and story makers wanted”

Kinetic Optimism Studio (invention design unit at Global Team Blue) is looking for curious, original, critical thinkers, social-prototypers, tinkerers and story-makers to join agile team of invention designers investigating new forms of inhabiting technology with our humanity.

Background and/or deep interest in product design, poetry, electrical engineering, art, culture-jamming, social sciences, creative technology, storytelling, being student of life, … … is a big plus but not a definitive requirement.

Some of the qualities and special skills that we are looking for:

– empathy for what makes people human
– curiosity and imagination
– resourceful idealism
– innate optimism
– ability to inspire collaboration
– scrappy inventiveness
– curiosity about the things that don’t make obvious sense
– visual thinking
– ability to ask new questions
– technological imagination and improvisation
– courage to do the new thing
– ability to prototype ideas and translate them into tangible communication forms (story making)
– MUST LOVE ROBOTS!

Kinetic_Optimism_Studio at Global Team Blue is an invention design unit using empathy, design and technology to imagine, invent and prototype new forms of inhabiting mobility with our humanity.

Our mission is to unlock inventive potential of mobility to help us be better at being human, not just better commuters.

Kinetic_Optimism_Studio seek new forms of bringing together empathy to what makes us human, design, story-making and technological imagination to invent experiences and new forms of engagement to help people find new doors to brand stories.

Our process is about asking what if? and challenging our own preconceptions, assumptions and givens about the role products, brands and technology play in people’s lives.

Kinetic Optimism is about unlocking inventive energy of human mobilities to inspire moments of meaning and foster new emotional links between people, objects and brands.

Goal of Kinetic_Optimism_Studio at GTB is to directly inspire Agency experience design process towards inventing new forms of engagement between people, brands and technology to generate moments of meaning and give Ford brand cultural advantage.
