Product Manager
The Product Manager will assist the AVP of Registration managing the ongoing lifecycle of key Sotheby’s
digital Registration initiatives focusing on third party integrations by collaborating with the UX team, by
identifying both external and internal user needs, conducting market research, interfacing with business
stakeholders, generating product requirements, generating user stories, developing visual mock ups and
storyboards, and time-integrated plans for product introduction and implementation.
- Initiate and translate product roadmap into manageable product backlog
- Manage, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog
- Be available for team in all the Scrum ceremonies
- Differentiate and understand the relationship between product development and project
management - Become familiar with the organizational development practices, platform requirements, and project
management framework - Manage product dashboard and communications to internal teams
- Perform acceptance testing
- Understand the primary activities and supporting process activities for value maximization
- Write requirement documents for the next release, and socialize them with the organization
- Liaise with Product Leads to understand the features and changes in product requirements and
support the release planning and sprint planning exercise - Push the product group and the development team to maintain continuous velocity stream, ensure
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry and components of the digital
ecosystem that the entire platform is built on. - Maintain and develop personal networks; participating in professional societies, meet ups and other
such events within the digital product development environment
- 3-5 years overall Digital/IT experience with 3 years in Digital Product Management
- Experience and interest in Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succeed in a collaborative team environment
