Lightbox is seeking a Lead Creative Technologist to help design new interactive experiences at our NYC event space.
The CT’s primary responsibility is to lead Lightbox digital artistic direction through the development, and implementation of new experiential technology in the space.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Lightbox’s creative tech vision and improvements by ideating and developing new technology experiences in Lightbox

Manage tech team on a week to week basis

Spend 1-2 days at Lightbox

Design and pitch custom tech-experiences for potential clients including creating technical briefs and vendor/contractor scopes of work for each project.

Oversee technical production aspects of experiential events and installations of multiple projects simultaneously.

Research and introduce new technologies; develop and manage relationships with existing and potential production and technology partners.

Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in ideating, pitching and executing experiential events using sound, visuals and interactive technology.

Experience overseeing small or large teams of technical producers, designers, software developers, programmers and technicians.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where project timelines are sometimes compressed

- Has a track record of creating experiences blending physical and digital mediums

Has worked and collaborated with digital artists, technologists, developers etc

Excellent creative and artistic presentation skills

Strong in depth knowledge of technology trends, audio visual medium.
