Digital Interdisciplinary Arts Program (DIAP) MFA program at City College

I have an idea for an informal dance piece I want to make that would respond to a heart rate. I was imagining using something like the Polar H9, and that information could be used to trigger the speed per second that sound plays in real time. There is an informal showing at the Ace Hotel on Saturday March 14th with potentially another show in the summer.
I would like to hire someone to help design and brainstorm this work with me. I don’t have a good sense of the scope, so I imagine it might take someone with more experience a couple of hours which I could compensate at $150. Hopefully it’s pretty simple programming, but again it would help to know how much time they would need.
